Welcome to the Counselor's Corner

Hello! My name is Stephanie Cline and I am the School Counselor at Sam Rayburn ISD.  I have now completed my 3rd year at SRISD as School Counselor. It has been an amazing experience so far and I am looking forward to another great year. I came to Sam Rayburn with 7 years of teaching experience in grades ranging from 1st grade to 8th grade.

I graduated Ector High School in 2001. I continued my education at Grayson County College upon graduation. I then transferred to Southeastern Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2005 with my BS Degree in Science Majoring in Elementary Education. I later returned to Southeastern Oklahoma State University and graduated May 2011 with a MS Degree in School Counseling.

I began my teaching experience at Bells Elementary in the 1st grade classroom. I taught 1st grade there for 2 years. I then moved to Oklahoma and began teaching at Tushka Public School. While at Tushka I taught 4th grade for 2 years and 5th-8th grade reading for 2 years. I completed my degree in School Counseling and sought out a counseling job. I moved back to Texas after receiving a job at Sherman ISD teaching 1st grade at Crutchfield. I then was blessed with a job offer here at Sam Rayburn doing what I am passionate about, counseling.

On February 5th 2014 I was blessed with my 1st child, a precious baby girl, Hadlee Grace! She is my world and the love of my life!

I look forward to being of assistance with any needs or concerns that may arise. Please feel free to contact me at anytime. You can reach me by email stephanie.cline@srisd.org or phone 903-664-2005 ext. 201.
